The Bread Sword

The newest addition to my collection is the bread knife. It took a while to figure every aspect of it as it might be the most complex blade to engineer. From the serrations and bevel geometry to the 265mm distal taper all were thought and designed to make a bread knife that in some sense will multitask, allowing it to deliver smooth and accurate results while slicing crusty loafs but also able to cut through soft foods and proteins effortlessly.

-Blade length 250mm, stainless cladding with Japanese super blue steel core

-Distal taper on the spine from 3mm to 1.7 mm

-Handle: solid copper bolster and Elm sourced here in Bristol, UK.

*** All knives are made to order and lead time is currently at 8-10 weeks minimum.

Every part of my knives are engineered from scratch. This gives me the ability to pay close attention to detail and make each knife truly unique. However, true craftsmanship takes time, thank you for your patience.
