I’ve been passionate about Bladesmithing for quite some time, and after starting out with a small forge in my back garden and hundreds of hours of tutorials, the family encouraged me to perfect my craft, and take it up full time.
I’ve now taken up residence in a workshop a short walk from Bristol Temple Meads station, where I have built up three forges, various anvils, a power hammer and all the other tools I need to craft beautiful knives, and wonderful knife making experiences.-
Rosanna supports me and the forge with her graphics, design and craft work. She helps me design new knife handles, packaging and much of the way we present ourselves to the world. She’s the first person I go to with new ideas, and is a major source of inspiration and critical feedback.
Robin is the forge’s Bladesmith in the making. He helps make sure I don’t spend too much time at the workshop, and although he doesn’t quite have enough knife making experience yet, he makes sure that my tools are robust (and mostly above child height)
We haven’t found the perfect role for Daphni yet, but like Robin, she makes sure my tools are robust (mostly by pushing them off tables).
